Can I install a pitched roof skylight on a roof pitch below 15 degrees? Yes! VELUX Pitched roof skylights (FS,VS,VSE,VSS) are designed to be installed at a minimum 15 Degree roof pitch. In order to install a VELUX pitched roof skylight on a low pitch design Shire Skylights manufacture a pitch adaptor base flashing to suit the entire VELUX range, this will ensure the weather proof integrity of your VELUX skylight.
